New Jersey Credit Unions Food Cooperative
Credit Unions were established to serve their communities beyond the financial productsand services they offer. That’s why County Excellence FCU has teamed up with 26 other credit unions across New Jersey to make a lasting impact this season.
The New Jersey Credit Unions Food Cooperative will support dozens of food pantries and organizations throughout the state, and help feed thousands of families this season.
In the state of New Jersey, 10.7% of families are experiencing food insecurity, and over 1.5 million state residents currently live within an identified food desert according to the Economic Development Authority. The need for essential food items continues to increase year over year, which is why initiatives like the NJ CU Food Cooperative make a huge difference in the lives of New Jersey families.
